How to Rewrite or Repair IMEI of Huawei Algo V4 Internet Devices

The International Mobile Station Equipment Identity or IMEI is usually a unique set of 15 digits to identify 3GPP (i.e. GSM, UMTS and LTE) and iDEN mobile phones as well as some satellite phones, assigned to each device by International Organization for Standards. All 15 digits of IMEI have the range of 0 to 9 coded as binary coded decimal. Values outside this range are not permitted.

So don’t try to change IMEI from another device because duplication in IMEI is illegal to operate in any country as well as any device with null IMEI or 000000000000000 IMEI is perfectly illegal to operate and your data connection could be terminated with immediate effect after its detection by the service provider.

Hence, legal obligations necessitates it to restore lost IMEI of your device, which is lost whatever the case. As some people lost it due to wrong firmware flashing or during unlocking process or boot short/needle unlocking method that may erase NV data of your modem. It means, if IMEI is missing from your device, it is still in half-dead state but it can be repaired and re-used without any problem.

In this article, we will guide you regarding restoring / repairing lost IMEI of your old and latest models of huawei modems including E5573, E5577, E3372h, etc.
